My name is Derick. I'm originally from Chicago. What I love most about DJing is being able to curate moments and make people happy and excited. I feel like being a wedding DJ is the perfect opportunity to do all that.
What I love best about Move is that we make it so simple. Having done so many DJ calls and worked with other DJ companies, I love that we take care of everything for the wedding couple, so they don't have to worry about all the little details.
We know exactly what's coming and what's expected. I feel like overall, Move does a really good job of making it easy for everyone.
I love that we truly personalize the experience for every single couple.
Whether it's a song I think they'll like based on what they gave me or a fun transition, that's what I love.
Being in the moment, knowing the vibe, knowing the room as a couple, and being able to give them a fun, one-of-a-kind experience that only they will get.
I love what I do. I do it for fun. I do it for friends and family, and I absolutely love doing it in a professional capacity.
