I'm Joshua Sandefur, and I'm originally from Memphis, Tennessee. I've got about 14 combined years of DJ experience.
I actually started DJing in radio during high school and found out very quickly that I love being able to share good music with other people.
I ended up DJing my first wedding right after graduating high school. What I discovered at that point was that I loved helping people celebrate those special moments in their lives.
The prep work beforehand is incredibly important to me. Taking a look at the planning document with song selections, going through those selections, and building out a set to make sure things mesh well and flow well.
While the night is going to have ebbs and flows, having that preparation beforehand really helps me be equipped for when those moments happen.
I think one of the big differences with Move is the level of professionalism.
We make sure that it's about the couple. It's not about how good of a set a DJ can create. It's about helping create a memorable experience for the couple or the company.
We want people to have such a great experience that when someone asks, "Do you know a DJ?" Move DJ Group is the first name that comes to mind.
